BACK TO JOY: Little Reminders to Help Us Through Tough Times

http://junecotner.com/jccallsub.html

This gift book, compiled by June Cotner, will be published by Andrews McMeel Publishing. The purpose of BACK TO JOY is to provide positive reminders for people who tend to be happy, but have just lost their way due to challenging circumstances. We all have people in our lives who need these gentle reminders--and we ourselves do, too, from time to time. When someone is going through a tough time in his or her life, it's nice to be able to turn to an inspirational quote, or a piece of text, which has a motivational message; something which can prod the person into remembering that it's not all bad.

The deadline for BACK TO JOY is April 15, 2013.

Short submissions, no more than 24 lines, work best and those that don’t lecture, but rather, enlighten. Submissions should be insightful, encouraging, or inspirational. Previously published work will be considered. Any dedications or personalization should be removed before submitting your work in order to make it appeal to a wider audience.
