Bethune & Son, "your location for gentlemen's quality outdoor & professional clothing, gifts and accessories with the distinct charm of South Texas living," is looking for short fiction (up to 5,000 words) for its third annual Texas Short Story Competition. Current theme: "Black Gold": "All stories must reference Oil in some way." First prize includes $1,000 and publication. The competition is open to U.S. residents only. As always, please be sure to read the rules in their entirety.
