Bylines Daily Calendar

Posted by Sally Clark on Saturday, February 6, 2010 Under: Speciality Products
We're looking for succinct personal stories (limit 300 words) about the writing life. The oh-wow success tales, the naked truth about what motivates you, the heartache of rejection, the toughest lessons, the joy and pain of freelancing. Humor is good. Please avoid routine, trite, ordinary stories. Read the many insightful submissions in the current Bylines and you'll see what we mean. We strongly urge you to read these entries so you understand what we're looking for. http://www.bylinescalendar.com/guidelines.php

While all accepted submissions for the 2011 Bylines Daily Desk Calendar will receive $5, the top three stories selected by the editor will receive $100, $60 and $40. The winners also receive a free calendar.  Deadline March 1, 2010.
