Line limit: 30 lines. Prizes: $100, $75, $50.
Deadline: August 01, 2016.
 
Poetry Contest Guidelines:
Entry Fee:   FREE
Author retains all rights
Font:  Times Roman…Size 12 pt.
Do not use “texting” lingo.
Submit: 2 poems per entry
Judging Process:  based on the following criteria:  style and creativity, poetic technique, technical proficiency (including poetic devices), effectiveness and literary merit.
Poems must be original and may be written in any poetic style.  (Specify the style.)
Maximum length of 30 lines.  No more than 55 characters across, including spaces.  Any submission that exceeds these limits will be automatically disqualified.   
Poems containing vulgar, offensive or wholly-inappropriate language will not be accepted.
Place name, address, telephone and email address on back of each piece.
3 winners and as many as 10 honorable mentions may be selected.
 
By entering, author consents to allow the Guild to publish winners on the Guild's website and in any publications used to announce winners and promote future contests.
