Enchanted Conversation Flash Fiction Contest

Here's a flash fiction writing contest to celebrate the release of Frozen Fairy Tales on Nov.10. Prize is $100.

On the Enchanted Conversation’s web site, in the comments section, write a flash story or vignette or even a poem depicting the story of "Sleeping Beauty." The entry must be no more than 700 words, but no less than 200. I'm leaving it to your imagination as to when, where, etc. You can pick any character, scene or aspect of the fairy tale to set in winter.

The contest opens Nov. 1 and runs until Nov. 20. The winner will be reposted on this site and awarded $100 through Paypal. I am buying first time electronic rights only. Once the winner is officially posted, anyone who entered, including the winner, is free to sell the work elsewhere in any form. You must have a Paypal address. The winner will be announced by Nov. 27. If the winner does not contact me within 72 hours at enchantedconversation@gmail.com, the next entry in line will become the winner.

EC is aimed toward an audience of 15 and up. No content that an 80-year-old grandma couldn't read, please.

There is no entry fee.
