Focus on the Family Magazine: Your Child's Spiritual Development

Focus on the Family Magazine: Your Child's Spiritual Development

Topic: Read "Your Child's Spiritual Development." We are looking for an article that will replace the short paragraph at the top of this page (and of course, your byline will replace the current byline under the title). In this article, we want an overview that is informational, but interesting, and covers the basic elements of a child's spiritual development in a new and insightful way. At the end of the article, the links to various other articles will remain. This article should cover what a parent needs to know about the spiritual development of their children, using interviews (not quotes from published books), insightful points, interesting statistics and short anecdotes. This article is for a journalist who knows how to use inverted-pyramid paragraphing and to write web content that includes keywords within the article and subheads. Please no lectures, and this is not a personal experience profile.

Word count: 1200 to 2000 words
Rights: First nonexclusive rights
Payment: $450, on acceptance
Due date: November 19, 2018
Byline: Yes — whether in print or online
Audience: Parents of children in the home
