Forrest Fest Poetry Contest

The Forrest Fest poetry contest is held each year in honor of our friend, Peggy Lynch, who inspired and supported the efforts to create an agenda in the form of a poetry festival for this rural community, Lamesa, Texas

Guidelines

1. Poems should be under 32 lines

2. Poems may be any genre, form is open

3. If you e-mail it must go to forrestpoetry@live.com , if you snail mail, it goes to Forrest Fest Inc., 301 North 19th Street, Lamesa, Texas 79331

4. Put poetry contest on the subject line.

5. Include your name address and age

Deadline is April 1, 2013 due to the enormous response to the contest this year.

Adult division, 18 and older, 1st Pl $75.00

Young Adult Division, 14 through 17,1st Pl $75.00

Young folks, 13 and under, 1st Pl $75.00
