Fredericksburg Texas Art School Offers Memoir Writing Workshop

The Fredericksburg, Texas, Art School will host instructors Gerry and Lorry Hausman and Alice Winston Carney of Green River Writers Workshops April 15 through April 19, as they present “Turning Memory Into Story: A Memoir Writing Workshop” in the Texas Hill Country.

The week-long workshop for writers of all experience levels will focus on the process of writing and story-telling and enhancing each participant’s writing ability and vision. Throughout the course writers will share works-in-progress and ultimately leave with a finished piece.

The workshop will conclude with an in-depth discussion on the many options of publishing, from finding an agent to self publishing, blogs, e-books and more. Tuition for the intensive writing workshop is $595 per person. Classes will be at the Hampton Inn in Fredericksburg.
