Entries must be received by May 25 for Mother's Day issue, June 18 for Father's Day issue, June 30 for Siblings issue

Getting Along with Grief, a blog about remembering lost loved ones through creative writing, seeks submissions of poems, photos, and essays on these upcoming themes. Essays should be 1,500 words maximum. Submit entries as email attachments and include brief bio.

May 1-25 Theme: "Life was good when..." Send poems, photos, or essays about good times with family members who have passed on. Special emphasis on good times with moms during May in honor of Mother's Day. Humor welcome.

June 1-18 Theme: "Life was good when..." Send poems photos or essays about good times with fathers or father figures who have passed on. Humor welcome.

June 19-30: "Our Siblings, Our Selves." Send poems, photos or essays about experiences of life, love, and loss with brothers, sisters, or brother-sister figures in your life. Reminiscences and tributes welcome.
