Gingerbread House Literary Magazine

Gingerbread House Literary Magazine

Gingerbread House is dedicated to publishing quality poetry & fiction with a magical element. Take your fairy tale and twist it. Bend your fantasy to suit your needs. Be original and fresh, loose and lovely.

We want stories that we’ve never seen before. No stories for children. No fan fiction of any sort (commentary on famous work is different). No sword & sorcery. Definitely nothing racist or pornographic. We’re not particularly into sci-fi. Retellings are fine, but should offer a new spin.

We read poetry, prose/flash fiction, and nonfiction from January 15th-October 15th.
