Golden Fleece Press Jules Verne Inspired Anthology

Did you fall in love with the Nautilus when you first encountered it? Do mutant crabs grab your attention? Do balloon wagers flip your gauges? If so, your stories might be just what we're looking for.

Golden Fleece Press is opening submissions for a Jules Verne inspired anthology.

Jules Verne authored numerous books and short stories. Now we're inviting you to dip into his universe and give us an exciting, sorrowful, loving, terrifying, [Insert your adjective here] view into it.

Write a new adventure of Captain Nemo or a short story about the frustrations of a ship's cook confronted by seafood every day. Tell a story about a little kid inspired by tales of Phileas Fogg. Or flip the tables on the Southern Star and explore the life of Alice's ostrich.

Stories should be 2000-3000 words. Send the story to GFPsubmisions@gmail.com
Stories should be attached to the email in .doc or .docx format.
Do not send the story in the body of the email. It will be automatically rejected.
Please provide a small biography (250 words or less) also attached as a .doc or .docs file.
Deadline: January 1, 2017.
Golden Fleece Press standard contract terms apply. https://goldenfleecepress.com/short-form-poetry-or-image-contract
