Higher Faith Books

My Dear Artistic Friends,

My name is Teresa Ives Lilly. I have been creative since childhood and recently have pulled it all together to start an online E publishing company called Higher Faith Books. The website will be going up this week if possible. We are open to new authors of Christian fiction/nonfiction and/or very, very clean items. These can be long novels or short novels over 3000 words.

We are also looking for stories for our upcoming anthologies White Picket Fence StoriesChristmas Village Stories, and Quilt Stories as well. These can range between 2,500 and 3,000 words each. We prefer them to be old fashioned stories up to World War II type.  For the White Picket (It's a Wonderful Life type stories). For this we do prefer light romance but are open to adventure or light mystery (no blood and guts).  Again, all clean, no sex no swearing. These will be published at Higher Faith Books and sold through Amazon, Fictionwise, allromancebooks, Kindle and Mobipocket....for a start. We need these ASAP, especially the Christmas Village Stories, so we can get them out before the Christmas season.

We are also looking for stories for our magazine Higher Faith. We need short shorts 100 to 1000 words, and shorts 1000 to 3000 words. We need devotionals, poetry, Bible studies, and photography. We pay between .50 and $2 currently until we grow alot bigger. We are open to writers who want to be regulars as well or who want to start a column. Right now you can see some ideas at www.whateverlovely.com, although this will be converting over to Higher Faith and will no longer have the treasure items or the places items. It will be more focused in on stories and book reviews for Higher Faith readers and writers.

We are looking for readers for our company. Basically we will send you books we are considering and you will read them and rate them in several different areas. We would also like to have reviews written for these books as well, but it is not mandatory to be a reader.

So I hope that some of you will jump on board and help us get started. I currently own the homeschool site www.hshighlights.com  where I sell over 250 unit studies E book style, so I do have experience in this area, as well as an email list of over 1000 people.

My son is a total web person and has been able to get my husbands website jefflilly.com into first place on all search engines, and he will be working with Higher Faith to help us promote it and gets your books sold.

And finally, we would appreciate if you would pass this info on to all readers, writers, and artists that you know about.

Contact Teresa at teresaiveslilly@yahoo.com to reply to any of these items, with submissions, or to join us in anyway.

Thank you
Teresa Ives Lilly
