Ladybug & Babybug Magazines: Journey

Posted by Sally Clark on Monday, February 27, 2017
Ladybug & Babybug Magazines

Ladybug and Babybug, magazines for children age 6 and under, seek fiction (to 800 words), nonfiction (to 400 words), and poetry (to 20 lines) about Journeys. For a young child, a journey might be a walk to the corner store, a long trip by boat or train, or a game of make believe. Stories should have childlike points of view and simple yet strong plots; they need to be short, too (under 800 words). When reading submissions, we look for playfulness, humor, and a sense of wonder. Most of our readers live in the United States, and sensitive explorations of different cultures are welcome.

Call for Submissions: Journeys
Deadline: March 24, 2017
