Noctua Review: Southern Connecticut State University’s graduate literary journal

Noctua Review is accepting previously unpublished short fiction, poetry, and artwork between October 1st, 2016 and January 31st, 2017. Any submissions received outside our reading period will go unread. We do not consider non-fiction or translations at the present time.

Please include a short, third-person bio along with your submission.

Simultaneous submissions are fine with us, and encouraged (we’re writers, too). Please inform us if your piece has been submitted elsewhere, and drop us an email should your work be accepted for publication. We’ll graciously withdraw it and offer you our congrats for making it to the top of the proverbial slush pile!

Noctua Review requests First North American Serial Rights for print and digital publication. All rights revert to the author upon publication. We regret that we are unable to offer financial remuneration for published work. Contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the issue in which they appear. Bragging rights are infinite.
