Don't miss the wonderful winter issue at http://www.persimmontree.org. There you will find Chana Bloch's excellent poetry, Hung Liu's powerful art, and fine fiction and nonfiction.

You are invited to submit to our new section of the magazine, SHORT TAKES, which will begin appearing in our summer issue. The topic is "First Thing in the Morning." The deadline is April 15, 2010. You must be a woman over the age of 60 to participate. The pieces should be 250-500 words, and we'll publish a representative number from the submissions.

The submission guidelines for SHORT TAKES are at the bottom of the Submissions page. Click here to read them.

Again, take a look at the new issue at http://www.persimmontree.org and leave your comments at the end of the pieces. The authors really appreciate hearing from you!
