Serendipity Writing Contest

Entries are accepted in two categories:
    very short fiction (1,000 word limit)
    short story (5,000 word limit)
A grand prize of $250 will be awarded for the best entry. Additional prizes will be awarded for 1st ($75) and 2nd ($50) place in each category.
 
Here are the rules.
    Any genre is acceptable but no kidlit or porn.
    Winners agree to first time publication rights in an upcoming anthology.
    Entries must be previously unpublished; placement in a personal blog is not considered publication in this contest.
    A person may enter more than one item in a category and may enter in more than one category; however no more than two entries total per author are allowed.
    Simultaneous submissions accepted but notify us immediately if your work is accepted for publication elsewhere.
    All entries will be considered for publication in an upcoming anthology.
  
Entries must be postmarked by March 31, 2012.

Entry fees
:
    $7 for one entry
    $10 for two entries (in one category or two categories)
 
Entry fees should be a check or money order made payable to Serendipity. Non-United States authors are invited to submit entries, however, payment must be made in US Dollars via an international money order or a check drawn on a US bank.
 
How to enter:
Send one copy of manuscript to:

    Danville, KY 40423-0639
The first page of the manuscript must have your name, the category (very short fiction, short story or creative nonfiction), word count and title.

    Name
    Mailing Address
    Title of each entry enclosed along with category and word count
    25-50 word bio

All entries will be considered for publication in an upcoming anthology.
