Solum Literary Press
We’re looking for work which deals with Christian theology or the Christian life. We want art that’s informed by a mature Christian worldview: intellectually robust and philosophically sophisticated. Further, we want Christian art that’s sincere, and honest pieces aren’t always anodyne. We’re looking for work which does justice to the full breadth of human experience. We want to read about a Christianity that can make sense of the laments in the Book of Psalms. We want a Christianity that can understand the rage of the imprecatory psalms and the weariness of Ecclesiastes. We want a Christianity that knows what it means to ask, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” Christianity shouldn’t skip the fall to get to redemption. We look into hell to see heaven. Christ’s love meets us in our present darkness. Share that with us.
We publish poetry (any length), short stories (up to 40 pages), philosophy articles (up 3000 words) essays, homilies (up to 2000 words), and visual art, including photography.
