This site features current writing opportunities for authors of all genres, with a preference for Christian publications. The submission opportunities featured on this blog site have been collected by Sally Clark. I am not an editor, publisher, or an agent. I am a writer who enjoys sharing submission information I find on the web with other writers.

The Higgs Weldon: A Comedy Website with New Content Monday thru Friday

All written submissions should be about 1,000 words or fewer.

Please submit your piece in the text of an email, not as an attachment. (We don’t want to risk getting viruses.) Please do not submit anything you've posted on Facebook, Tumblr, your blog, etc. Please only submit previously unpublished content. If you submit your piece to multiple places and it is accepted somewhere else before we get back to you, please let us know.

They offer a monthly writing prompt to get your started, a caption contest, or you can submit your anonymous questions for their Love Advice Column 'Daddy Knows Best'

*One Liners: jokes@thehiggsweldon.com

Short jokes should be 140 characters or less. These can be new jokes or your tweets. Again, send these in the text of an email and include your name, and website or Twitter handle. No title is necessary for these because that would be weird. Feel free to send us up to ten of these at a time. If you have more than ten that you'd like to submit, please wait until they get back to you before sending them the next ten.
