Posted by Sally Clark on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 Under: Christian Print Magazine
Thriving Family Magazine: Husbands and Newborns
(Early Years 0- to 3-year-olds)

Husbands and newborns: As a new mom naturally focuses on her newborn, she can sometimes forget that she’s still also a wife. Share how you recognized this tension, and how you managed to give attention to both your baby and your husband during your first month of motherhood.
Word Count: 130-250 words
Article Type: First-person narrative, or a first-person narrative about another person, written as if you were that person. (Your byline would be the other person's name "with" your name, and you will need that person's written permission.)
Rights: First nonexclusive rights
Payment: $50 on acceptance
Date Due: by February 29th, 2012
Acceptance or Rejection: The Thriving Family editors appreciate your Babies and Pets ideas. If your story was not accepted by March 21st, 2012, it was not chosen for publication. We hope to work with you on a different article at a later time.
Submit to: Please submit your EY — Husbands and newborns articles to Jim.Holt@fotf.org
