Theme: How to deal with competition among children in a blended family
 
Topic: This article should apply to widowed or divorced people who remarried. The focus of the article is parenting.
 
Critical:
• The author should write from personal experience (but can reference expert sources).
• Format: intro anecdote (not fictional, but the names can be changed), nut graf, then three or four practical tips (action that readers can take-—please don't include prayer, Bible study or "changing your attitude" as tips)
 
Word Count: final article will be about 400 words
 
Rights: First publication rights
 
Audience: Married couples with children in the home.
 
Submission: If interested, please respond  with a brief outline or summary of the article you propose to write, including a list of the practical tips you'd recommend, to Web.Features@fotf.org and put "Attn: Troy – 'Blended Family'" in the subject line.
