Theme: Thanksgiving, fall youth sports or other autumn topics (not Halloween). What is something really funny your child said or did that related to these topics?  
Word Count: 50 to 75 words.
Article type: True-life story, written in first person
Rights: First nonexclusive rights
Payment: $25 on acceptance
Date Due: 4/24/12
Byline: On our Parents Like Us page, we give the author’s first name only. We also give the state where they live (please include that with your submission).
Directions: We're not just looking for cute, we're looking for hilarious. Include your name and contact information (including mailing address and phone number) in the email with your humor story.
Acceptance or Rejection: The Thriving Family editors appreciate your funny anecdote. If it was not accepted by May 1, 2012, it was not chosen for publication at this time. We hope to work with you on a different article at later.
