Virgogray Chapbook Anthology Series

Posted by Sally Clark on Friday, October 22, 2010 Under: Poetry Anthology
Submit poetry to the Virgogray Chapbook Anthology Series

The Virgogray Chapbook Anthology series is quickly becoming a hallmark of the Virgogray Press publication ring (located in Austin, Texas). Each anthology is themed with several writers contributing to the body of text. We do not accept simultaneous submissions, nor may any previously published work be submitted for any anthology. DO NOT SEND PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED WORK or WORK SUBMITTED TO SOMEONE ELSE AT THE SAME TIME. The waiting period for a reply to your submission is considerably less but is relative to the Submission Open Date and the Deadline.

Send 3-5 poems to which ever anthology you’d like to submit, do not send the same piece to simultaneous anthologies. Send your submission in by email in a .doc or like format. Do not send as a .zip or compressed file. In your cover letter please include your name and contact info (email. phone. address) and a brief biography.

There is no monetary compensation for being published in a Virgogray Chapbook Anthology, however, contributors whose work does appear in the book will receive two copies of the anthology. Rights revert back to author upon publication. Virgogray retains first time publishing rights,  and reserves the right to anthologize and to any possible future editions of the publication in which the author’s work appeared in.

VGP Chapbook Anthology #6 (Title forthcoming) Theme: Peace. Send us your peace poems—easy as that. Deadline December 26, 2010.

VGP Chapbook Anthology #7 (Title forthcoming) Theme: Intelligent life in space/ufos/aliens. Tell us your thoughts on life not from Earth. Deadline December 26, 2010.
