Wyoming Writers 2015 Writing Contest
 
Categories and fees:
 
1) Adult and New Adult Fiction, including short stories and novel segments—3000 words maximum. Members: $15 for one entry, $10 for each additional entry. Nonmembers:  $20 for one entry, $15 for each additional entry
 
2) Children’s/Juvenile/Young Adult Fiction—3000 words maximum. Members: $15 for one entry, $10 for each additional entry. Nonmembers: $20 for one entry, $15 for each additional entry
 
3) Nonfiction—Personal Experience and Memoirs, Articles, Creative Nonfiction. 3000 words maximum. Members: $15 for one entry, $15 for each additional entry. Nonmembers: $20 for one entry, $15 for each additional entry
 
4) Traditional Poetry—40 lines maximum, one page per poem. Members: $20 for a limit of four poems. Nonmembers: $25 for a limit of four poems
 
5) Free Verse—40 lines maximum, one page per poem. Members: $20 for a limit of four poems. Nonmembers: $25 for a limit of four poems
 
Prizes: First place: $50 and award certificate. Second place: $30 and award certificate. Third place: $20 and award certificate
 
Honorable mentions are strictly up to the judges’ discretion, but if awarded, receive certificates. Winners will have their names and the title of their work published on our website and/or in the WYO-Writer, the official newsletter of WW, Inc.
